Explore the aircraft carrier " Hermes " It was sunk by Japanese fighter - planes together with the escort vessel " Vampire " in the vicinity of Batticoala on April 9th in 1942. The " Hermes" lies in a depth of 35 to 55 meters. it is one of the few big battle-ship wecks in comfortable range for divers.
Die " Hermes " wurde am 9. April 1942 mit dem Eskortschiff " Vampire " von den Japanern versenkt und liegt in 35 - 55 m Tiefe und ist damit noch gut für erfahrene Taucher zu erreichen.
